Ross was born and raised in an agricultural community in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. An
ingrained agricultural background led to an interest in Veterinary medicine.
Ross graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1977. Since graduation Ross has
practiced companion animal medicine. He resided and practiced in Kitchener, Ontario
until moving to Milton in 2001.
Ross received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Wilfrid Laurier
University in 1999. Over the past twenty years he has actively consulted in the area of
economics of veterinary medicine, concentrating mostly in the area of practice valuation.
Since moving to Milton in 2001, Ross has operated a companion animal practice in
Milton. Ross has enjoyed the opportunity to participate as a volunteer with several
organizations in Milton.
Ross has made the decision to predominantly support a single charity. He chose to
support Girls Inc because of the relevance of their work, the efficient use of their
resources and strong reputable leadership.
